The President of a PTA is the presiding officer and official representative of the Draper Elementary PTA. The President is responsible for leading the PTA toward specific goals chosen by its members. The President calls meetings, interacts with school officials, and ensures that communication and collaboration are maintained with other levels of Utah PTA. The President must ensure that actions and activities are in accordance with official PTA rules and guidelines and maintains a master calendar that includes meetings and special events. The President is expected to attend all PTA meetings.
