BLENDED LEARNING: Beginning Monday October 5th, the district is moving to a blended learning schedule. Students across all grades, K-12 will attend school Monday through Thursday according to their regular schedules. There will be no early-out or late start days. Friday will be a planning, collaboration and student-consultation day for teachers and a day of independent study for students. More information will be coming on this as we spend the next week preparing.
COVID: We have had a new case this last week and a few have had to quarantine. I am also waiting to hear from two others. Please remember to keep your kids home if they are ill. That seems to be helping us a lot. If your student is on quarantine please email the teacher and he/she can let you know how to keep your child up to date with what is going on in class.
SUBSTITUTES: Thank you to all of you who told Marian you would be an Emergency Substitute for us! It is appreciated.

Box Top Collection: This will be our last collection of physical box tops. Please clip them and send them with your student byThursday, 10/08.

Spirit Night: Cafe Zupa’s 10/13
Tuesday 10/13 from 5:00-9:00 come and eat dinner at the Cafe Zupa’s in Draper (75 E 12300 S, Draper, UT 84020) and support our school. Make sure to tell them you are from Draper Elementary School.
Reflections Due 10/16: We have less than two weeks left to enter this year’s Reflections Art Program! The theme is “I Matter Because…” and all entries can now be submitted through the online portal at https://www.utahpta.org/ref. Submission Deadline: OCTOBER 16
We are also looking for volunteer judges with experience in art, photography, music, film, dance, or literature. All judging will be done online so judges can live anywhere.
