We had some amazing parents come in to our classroom to do Meet the Masters with us. They talked about Faith Ringgold’s quilt designs and then let us design our own quilt. Ringgold liked to paint memories from her own childhood so in the middle we drew a favorite memory we have. We talked about repeating patterns we could put in our quilt. Our class loved it and loved being able to use the pastels and create their pieces of artwork.
