Meeting Agenda:

  1. Welcome-Janene
  2. Approve Previous Meeting Minutes-Janene- approved via email
  3. SCC Elections, Ballots, Open Seats for 2021-2022- Janene

Each year there should be at least one new staff member and one parent starting a new term. Madison will be replaced. All members filled out a survey and it will be discussed between Christy and the Chair.

  1. COVID Update Christy

There is 1 adult at the school with Covid. They were not vaccinated. Waiting to see if their kids are also positive.

  2. TSSP and Land Trust Plan for 2021-2022 Christy

TSSP has been approved and the Land Trust has been submitted.

  3. Safety Drills Christy

Earthquake drill this Thursday as part of the Great Utah Shakeout. May will be an evacuation drill.

  4. Budget Review Christy

We’re good on the budget since money was transferred from the amendment. Teachers are turning in timesheets for the teachers tutoring and Christy is keeping track to make sure we don’t go over budget.
The District will be holding a summer school and will provide busing. There might also be language for DLI offered.

  5. Safe Walking Routes Stacey

There was supposed to be a meeting with someone at the district and he forgot. He said we need to get a list of areas of concerns and where our buses go. Christy called Jeremy over bussing, but hasn’t been able to get a hold of him. We hope to get a meeting with a district before the end of the year. Janene and Stacy took pictures of some of the issues.  There is the possibility of doing the grant for a potential south access walkway, but a lot of data is required from the city. We’re going to hold off on this for now.
