What is the “Power of YET?” Marissa Geertsen has been teaching life skills to the whole school each month. We call it “Mondays with Marissa”. Today she taught us about the power of yet. With determination and perseverance we can accomplish anything. It may not happen quickly, but with perseverance we can do hard things! Marissa has been working at Draper Elementary for several years. Last year she became our behavioral specialist. She gets to know all the students and can usually call them by name! She is a positive advocate for each student and supports teachers with behavior issues as well as celebrations. We love our Miss Marissa!
