FALL BREAK: We only have school 3 days this week. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are full days but then we don’t have school on Thursday and Friday.
TUTORING: We are starting to do some after school tutoring but it is by invitation only. If you have signed a permission slip, please be sure to be here right at 4:00 to pick them up. I wish we could open it up to more kids but we just don’t have the resources at this time. You would have been informed of this by now if your child is invited to attend. If we don’t have your permission slip by tomorrow, someone else will be invited. Tutoring will be on Monday and Wednesday until 4:00pm. Please pick them up right outside the main doors. We will be bringing them out front to you.
COVID: As of Friday, we had less than 5 cases. We seem to be doing great this year!
DRESS APPROPRIATELY: Please send your kids dressed appropriately to be able to go outside at recess to play. These next few days look to be wet but we want the kids to be able to go outside as much as possible.
REMINDER: Please pull up and around as far as possible when dropping off and picking up your kids. I promise that walking that extra couple of minutes walking will not be too difficult for your kids.
DUAL IMMERSION: The start of October signals the opening of the window to apply for CSD’s popular Dual Language Immersion Programs. Parents and guardians can apply online anytime from Monday, Oct. 4, 2021 to Nov. 23, 2021. Please note: Students with siblings who are currently enrolled in one of CSD’s DLI schools must still submit applications by the Nov. 23, 2021 deadline. A lottery will be held to determine entrance into the programs if the number of applicants exceeds the 56 seats available per entering class.

Staff Appreciation Week

Fall Festival – Rescheduled
The wind was too strong to have our Fall Festival last week 🙁 We rescheduled it for April 12th 4:00-7:00. Mark your calendars for this fun Spring Carnival.
