KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION: Next years kindergarteners and their parents are invited to a short orientation on Friday May 6th from 2:30-3:00. Please pass the word on to those in your neighborhood who will have kindergarten students next year.
RETIREMENT OPEN HOUSE: Several of us are retiring this year. There will be an open house on May 16th from 3:30 – 5:00 in the Draper Elementary Gym. All are welcome to come say goodbye. Spring Park, Marian Broderick and Christy Waddell are all the ones retiring as of today. There could be one or two more that we add to this.
MORNING DROP OFF: Please do not drive into the west parking lot in the mornings when dropping off your children. Buses are there and we do not have staff to make sure your children are safe. Please go to the East parking lot to drop off your children!

We had a great turn out for the Grandparents Lunches. Thanks to all who came and those who volunteered and made it run smoothly!
Dragon Dudes at Recess
Our newly formed group of awesome Dragon Dudes will attend lunch recesses on 04/19 and have fun activities for the students. If you are interested in getting involved, please email us (draperelementarypta@gmail.com). Note: you must complete the background check process (only need to complete once a school year) if you plan to participate.

We are having another Field Day planning meeting on Tuesday, 04/26 at 9:00am in the Teacher’s Lounge. If you are able to come and help us plan, please come!
Teacher Appreciation Week: Coming Up
Teacher Appreciation week will be May 2nd to May 6th. Stay tuned for more information on the fun things we have planned for the teachers and ways for the students to show their teachers they love them!
