Our speech contest is one of the main highlights of 5th grade! Students had to choose their own topic, write a persuasive or informational speech and then memorize it. They then deliver their speeches to their classmates. This takes courage. We were so impressed with the writing and speaking skills! Top speakers were chosen to move on to the Canyons District Tournament on April 23rd and some of our Draper students qualified to move on to the State Tournament. We are so proud of every one of our students!
