Support the Draper Elementary Art Collection

Preserving a Century of Art and History

Within the halls of Draper Elementary School is one of Utah’s most unique collections of public art.

For nearly 100 years and in two different building locations, artwork has been collected and displayed throughout the school, creating an inspiring environment where generations of students have experienced original works of art as part of their everyday education.

Today, the collection includes more than 80 original pieces of artwork dating back to 1917. Among its most treasured works are an original Norman Rockwell painting, Ichabod Crane, and an original painting by Bob Ross, along with many other remarkable works that represent decades of artistic and educational history.

This collection is more than a gallery—it is an active public school that has inspired thousands of students and remains an important part of Draper Elementary and the Draper community’s legacy.

We Could Use Your Help

Caring for the art pieces requires professional conservation, cleaning, restoration and occasional reframing to ensure they can continue to be enjoyed by future generations. We also hope to install museum-quality protective Plexiglas over many of the works to help safeguard them from accidental damage while allowing students to continue viewing the art up close.

Every donation helps preserve this remarkable collection for the students of today and tomorrow.
