DRAGON DELIVERY                                                                                    January 13, 2019

From Principal Christy Waddell

TOYS & ELECTRONICS: Please make sure your children leave these things at home.  We have had several things go missing recently and the teachers just do not have the time to try and keep track of the items students bring from home. Pokémon cards seem to be an especially big problem in the younger grades. We appreciate your support with this.

DRESS FOR WINTER: Whenever possible, your children will be going outside for recess. It is very important they bring/wear clothes that will help them stay warm and dry while playing outside.  If there is a puddle the kids will find it and jump in it.

TEACHER OF THE YEAR: Nominations are now open for Teacher of the Year.  Please fill out an application to nominate a teacher that has made a difference in your student’s life.

SPEECH: 2nd Grade will be having a Speech Screening on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. All students will be seen in small groups (except those already receiving speech-language services). If there are concerns, the Speech-Language Pathologist will follow up with you. If you have any questions or do NOT want your student to be included in this screening, please contact Emily Christofferson (SLP) at .
